Wooden box painted by hand. On the lid has been painted mysterious, famous Piri Reis’s – Ottoman admiral and cartographer – map from XVI century, showing western shore of Europe, northern shore of Africa and Brazil. Inside of the tea box has twelve compartments and is not painted, which allows it to be used in the kitchen. On the bottom of the chest a signature of the author of the painting has been placed. The chest not only can be a perfect box for tea but also will do great as a jewellery box or a place to keep other treasures.
